First, the service provides an easy way for you to share the document with your customer and get his approval if necessary for processing. A number of people also use this during the development stage to share how the document will look and provide PDFs of those documents for their clients.

Second, this service provides a convenient archive of the documents for your customers and the customers of your customers. Your customer can have a sign on that lets him see all of his documents and do searches on specific dates, names, or account numbers. Their customer will be given access only to documents that are specific for his account. In either case, they can save those documents to a file, print them, or email them in the form of a PDF.

Third, this is a payment processing service where the customer can make payments either with a credit card or as an ACH payment. This is a quick convenient way to pay an invoice that reduces the lag time for payment to your customer.
